The music of super-group ABBA is used to tell the story of a girl who wants to know the identity of her biological father so he can walk her down the isle for her upcoming nuptials. She invites the unsuspecting men to her mother's restaurant in the Greek islands, while her mother's old friends from her former girl group show up for the wedding as well.
The Broadway production opened in 2001 at the Winter Garden Theatre. It moved to the Broadhurst Theatre in 2013 and continues an uninterrupted run. Productions have visited Vegas and continue to tour around the world.
